Thymol is a phenol compound extracted from thyme essential oil. It penetrates bacterial cell membranes, disrupting their structural integrity and causing cellular leakage. This mechanism is physically distinct from antibiotic resistance pathways — germs cannot evolve around it.
Citric Acid — From Plant Fermentation
